山西省是能源重化工基地,工业固体废物产生量和排放量位居全国前列,每年新增工业固废超3亿吨,历史堆存超14亿吨,综合利用率低于全国平均水平,增量多、存量大已成为制约山西产业发展的瓶颈问题。山西省正在举全省之力推进能源革命,在传统产业升级改造、新产业、新能源应用等方面不断探索,由此带来的固体废物问题也亟待解决。
固体废物的处理处置事关民生福祉,事关山西省资源型经济转型,事关高质量发展。太原理工大学环工学院立足山西,辐射煤炭产业集聚区兄弟省份,固废学科方向重点开展以下三方面研究:
1、大宗工业固体废物资源化利用、污染防治技术与环境风险防控体系建立;
2、生物质能源利用技术研究与开发;
3、城市矿产资源再生技术与产业模式。
Brief Introduction of Disposal and Treatment of Solid Waste Sub-discipline
As one of the key base of the energy and chemical industry, the production of industrial solid waste in Shanxi province is tremendous in China, with over 300 million tons produced per year and over 1.4 billion tons untreated which is far lower than the average utilization in China. The high discharge and existing-amount of solid waste has been the bottleneck problem for the development of Shanxi province. Further, the “energy revolution” fully impelled by the Shanxi government, as well as the continuously endeavor on the upgrading of the traditional industry, cultivate of the new industry, and application of new energy, emphasizes the significance of the disposal and treatment of solid waste.
The disposal and treatment of solid waste is closely connected with well-being of the civilian, the shift to a resource-based economic and the high-quality development of Shanxi province. The main research fields on the disposal and treatment of solid waste of the College of Environment Science and Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology includes the following area:
(1) The recovery of resources from solid waste, the technology of preventing and controlling the pollutions, and the risk management of the environment.
(2) The Research & Development of the biomass utilization technology for energy;
(3) The technology and industry of regenerating resource from civic solid waste
